Political Campaign Season Is Approaching
The Arizona Primary Election will be held on August 30th, 2016. The General Election is on November 8th, 2016. The Phoenix Post Office will issue recommended cut-off dates to insure that your political mailings arrives in time for the elections. It is important that candidates plan ahead to allow enough time for printing and mail processing to meet the deadlines for political mailings.
As of this posting, there is no word from the post office as to the exact cut-off dates for political mailings. However, the following dates may be used as a general guideline as they are based on our previous experience with the post office over the years.
Standard Mail (Bulk Rate) must be presented to the Postal Service by August 22nd, 2016.
First-Class Mail must be presented to the Postal Service by August 25th, 2016
Standard Mail (Bulk Rate) must be presented to the Postal Service by November 1st, 2016
First-Class Mail must be presented to the Postal Service by November 3rd, 2016
